Tools and methods

The Concept Lab is a 3 to 5 day create-a-thon, surrounded by greenery, to encourage innovative solutions and launch hyper rapid prototyping. A place to lay the groundwork for the future, the lab is led with audiences both internal and external to the company. It’s ideal to launch Apps and digital offers, but also to enrich the pipeline of innovative projects.

● Rapid proliferation of a large number of ideas
● Federation of stakeholders
● Creation of market assumptions
● Appropriation by teams

The GreenPitch Village is a one to two day session, surrounded by greenery, to mature business models and innovation pitches for the purpose of presenting to the management committee or in front of investors. Obviously, the rapid tos and fros between form and content are catalysts of value and strength for every project. It’s ideal for a small start-up group (5 to 6 maximum) or for teams of virtual BUs belonging to MMCs or CAC40 companies.

● Pitch parameters will be clarified (Business Model, speech, storytelling)
● Ability to persuade and success rate will be increased
● Accelerated maturation of the pitch iterative process
● Control of the 3 pitches, “30 seconds”, “3 minutes”, “30 minutes”
● Increased value for projects and fundraising

Brand Stretching consists of stretching the brand’s skills: offer, image, targets. This method can be applied to a revamping strategy (product or brand repositioning), flankering (a greater range through innovation on the offer) or a speech (improve or create brand or range storytelling). With strong design-writing abilities, the Time to Planet team delivers opportunities for new territories for the brand.

● Increased brand legibility and distinctiveness
● Copy Strategy clarification (the brand’s strategic platform)
● Map of possible or impossible territories
● Increase in the value of intangible assets.

This approach consists in making the company move from a descending and dirigiste innovation company (Upside Down) to a climbing and spontaneous one (Bottom Up). It introduces matrix management and matrix organisation structure to produce more hierarchical processes (by project or by function). It brings together innovation, sustainable development and R&D.

Time To Planet has mapped 12 innovation strategies based around two essential questions: Do you have time? Do you have money? Depending on your position on the map, a limited number of innovation is pertinent (between 2 and 3 maximum out of 12).

This approach also takes into account the cultural factors in your company according to two discriminatory areas: type of operation and dominating type of population. 4 socio-types of company determine 4 ways to innovate. Intercultural intelligence is one of the new skills to acquire in order to develop agility.

● Management of tailored, contextualised and personalised innovation
● Acceleration of spontaneous innovation and value creation
“Empowerment” of staff and stakeholders
● Creation of an agile and intelligent company
● Use of serendipity to generate happiness in the workplace

Corporate Social Responsibility is a modern way of moderating strategy in the company: from punctual to expert, this moderation becomes ongoing and shared. Based on a diagnosis and an internal work of choice, Time to Planet will help choose projects to be implemented in the list of the 7 themes and 50 strategic subjects.

Time to Planet sets the company on a journey (will, declaration of intention, vision and areas to work on). This commitment to progress enables the ISO 26000 standard, a non-certifying standard, to be displayed.

● Stronger support for the visions and strategic projects on behalf of the stakeholders
● A long-term progress plan
● Better control of impacts and anthropic problems
● Accelerated contribution to planetary objectives (GHG, temperature, resources, biodiversity…)
● Improvement of the brand’s image and the attractiveness of the company

Time to Planet proposes a more creative way to generate global value. From known business models, Time to Planet invites the company or the collective to rethink its economic equation and its exchange system. Without touching the offer fundamentally, the company discovers a number of opportunities to generate value.

Also, the emphasis is placed on the break from a growth and speculation economy to head towards an economy of
”return”. Time to Planet contributes to the eco-system of Fin Techs by inventing new financial tools (the award-winning ”micro-sponsorship of return” at the Pole Finance Innovation) or by revisiting the contractual base (Blockchain technology, updated payments, payment in Barter, participative finance, fundraising, crowdfunding, exchange, etc.).

● Acceleration of profitability and the creation of global value
● Invention of perennial systems
● Creation of a third economic path
● Channelling of flows and migration of value towards priority targets

Time to Planet helps a number of companies digitalise their organisation and commercialisation. The teams can take on missions of total digitalisation for small companies: creation of corporate sites,
E-shops, social network set up, or more generally digital strategy (messages, tools, budgets, action plans).

For start-ups, Time to Planet is capable of organising Hackathon so as to generate a beta functional version of a commercial site or an app as quickly as possible. Its team of code and CMS developers (WordPress, Magento, Prestashop) can quickly develop a “lean“ type learning tool.

Time to Planet also digitalises organisation bricks: company social network, digital training program, integration of generation Y and Z, open innovation, etc.

● Increased legibility and brand distinctiveness
● Copy Strategy clarification (the brand’s strategic platform)
● Map of possible or impossible territories
● Increase in the value of intangible assets.

Interventions include the following steps:

  1. Definitions of expected impacts and objectives
  2. Issue to be resolved and mission outline
  3. Mixed project team
  4. Mission plan
  5. Result measurement

● Customised and conceptualised intervention plan
● Ad-hoc intervention methods
● Transfer of know-how and quick autonomy for the company
